The American
Law Firm Association (ALFA®INTERNATIONAL)
is an international organization of more than 116 law firms located
in USA, Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific
Rim, South Africa and Europe.
The mission
of ALFA®INTERNATIONAL is to provide
its clients with the best legal service worldwide. ALFA®
INTERNATIONAL members are aware that only a cohesion and interaction
of law firms from around the world can efficiently secure the
needs of clients operating on a global scale as well as those
clients requiring diverse cross-border legal services.
16 Practice
Groups (e.g. the Banking and Finance Practice Group, Product Liability
Practice Group, European Employment Practice Group) have been
established within ALFA® INTERNATIONAL
itself, aimed at offering the best quality services to clients
active in specific areas.
The American
Law Firm Association is one of the oldest non-profit organizations
in the world and its members have been carefully selected from
reputable international law firms with a broad spectrum of practice
and with the aim to cover all major jurisdictions of the world.
Law
Offices Dr. F. Schwank were invited to join the American Law
Firm Association in 1993 as representative for Austria. At present
Dr. Schwank is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of
the ALFA international - Banking and Finance Practice Group.
